Good conditioner overall. The scent combines sandalwood and patchouli well. The sandalwood scent is heavier than patchouli. It's too oily so I think I'll use it more in the fall and winter.

This product offers good hold without weighing down the beard and has a nice subtle finish. I would have given more stars but thought I'd buy a beard balm that would moisturize and soften my beard. My beard needs regular moisturizing which I use a different product for. I tried using this product for this purpose but it made my beard dry and scratchy. I love this product as a styling balm that I use from time to time.

excellent beard balm. The scent is phenomenal from the start. The thickness is perfect for a light but strong brush. Softens my beard, helps with itchy beard and I haven't seen any dandruff on my beard since using it. I will definitely be refilling this beard balm again.

Bought spontaneously a few months ago and only smelled it until yesterday. First, the smell is just amazing. (If you like spicy, earthy scents, buy this one.) Note, however, that it doesn't "melt" on the touch as quickly as many of my other balms. I found this annoying at first until I realized it didn't transfer or need to be reapplied that often either. Now I'm very impressed. I wish the company had a bigger line.

Although cheaper than some of the more well known brands this is a good quality balm. I like the scent which is pine with a slight hint of spice. It holds up well, but it's definitely a balm, not a wax. I will buy again.

A bit tricky, I had to stick my fingernail in to get it. My wife is very fond of patchouli and sandalwood scents. But she says it smells like the cloth lining of an old leather wallet.

I don't like the smell. My girlfriend doesn't like it either. I really wanted to endorse and enjoy a small business product. should have been sent back to Revain. Some people like the smell of a Christmas candle, but it makes me really sick—even on the level of a bearded existentialist. I can start shaving; I and all humans are afraid of ever feeling that smell again.
