📻 Jensen CD-725 Portable CD Music System: Cassette & FM Stereo Radio Combo Review

My husband had a similar portable system in his garage and wanted one for his basement office. I was looking for one that had everything it wanted and came across this one! He was surprised at how good the sound was no matter what he was playing, CD, cassette or radio. He has a lot of tapes and CDs because he's old school and this was the perfect purchase for him! Great value for money.

The sound is crisp and clear. I was concerned about the sound quality (distortion at higher volumes) since this thing is so small. Surprisingly, it filled my work shed with amazing sound quality. I'm nothing compared to my Denon AVR-X3300W, but that wasn't the purpose of this purchase. I needed something that would fit on a shelf. and sound good while I work on the material. That's a piece of junk! Don't buy this. I read the reviews and many said the same thing but I didn't heed the warning. The left speaker makes horrible static noise, discs jump during playback (and I've tried a lot), and when a CD was playing there was a constant buzzing in the background. I tried the Sony brand and it was terrible! It is becoming very difficult to find a device that can play CDs and cassettes and has an aux jack to play my iPod. Hello manufacturers!
