Terribly designed alarm clocks/radios in the 21st century?

I wanted a straight forward, simple clock radio, but instead I have a dual alarm clock/radio with horrible volume, buttons I can't easily read, and alarm clocks that seem to belong to me, the cat rotate can turn on by pressing the buttons. Imagine you didn't set the alarm but your cat did and the default alarm time is midnight and the sound is so loud you're just grateful the office clock is across the hall and not next to it the bed - Yes, it happened! The instruction was apparently put…

It's impossible to change anything easily, including time!

I bought this unit right after the last daylight saving time change (DST). It's too late to return it as we had to change the time to daylight saving time. NO INSTRUCTIONS. With simple devices, you don't have to tap your head, rub your stomach, tap your foot to set an alarm or turn back the time! At first I just wanted something to be able to tell the time in the middle of the night. We use an alarm clock VERY occasionally (which was also an issue when setting it up). Luckily, after pressing a…

This is a perfect example of a simple watch

This is a perfect example of a simple no frills watch. This replaced the Sony watch my wife and I own which automatically switched to Daylight Saving Time. The only problem with all of this is that it was bought before Daylight Saving Time moved on the calendar. The time on the old clock was not easy to change and we were very upset. After looking at several digital watches, I found that it was difficult to find watches that didn't do things automatically or had issues with them that people…

AM radio not working, settings are not intuitive

I read many reviews before purchasing this clock radio and thought there was some confusion as to whether the radio worked. Some people said yes; others that it is not. I use a clock radio as an alarm clock and like to listen to an AM station in the morning. I figured as long as I have this the clock radio will work for me and since I live in a big city I don't think about this issue. Also, I don't like the look of the cube shaped watch they have these days so I ordered one. I don't like the…

Not the Jensen I knew.

We bought two of these, one on each side of the bed. One of them only receives a couple of radio stations on FM (it doesn't receive our regular station, I might add) and the other clock/radio station only receives two stations, a disgusting and vulgar rock station and a Latin American station. The rock station played the same song all the way from FM 88 to FM 108, and the Latin station was just a little bit in the middle. The sound was "not bad" on one, on the other -"bad quality". Very…
