Shop for a mirror; Wrong light

The light on this mirror is very weak. I need daylight mode. It's like candlelight. The 8x mirror itself doesn't seem to have much magnification either. I think it's better than nothing and it gives you a hands-free mirror in front of your face. The arm stretches well and the mirror has a regular 1x side too, which can be useful.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Nice with good magnification

This is a good magnifying mirror; I can't say what the lighting looks like because I didn't install it. The double sided mirrors and body were too thick for my liking so I ordered another brand with just one mirror. The bronze color was beautiful with slight variations in color that you would normally see in a bronze color. Thank you Revane for the uncomplicated return.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • For old

Good product but wish the light was brighter.

I plugged this mirror directly into an available outlet on my vanity. I'm fairly handy with my hands, but even with average "household" electrician skills, it still took me some time. (I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner to try, it's better to find someone who knows electricity and wiring.) I want the glowing halo to be brighter, so much so that it still doesn't have enough light for me if there is a light on in the bathroom or not.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Error

It has a terrible light

This mirror looks good in general. The arm looks nice, but the mirror itself is cheap. Can't really rate the installation as I had an electrician install some of the bathtub renovations. However, after installing it (of course I couldn't test it beforehand) I found that the light is just awful! It doesn't illuminate anything, and the mirror doesn't magnify either. My husband removed the bezel (very cheap stuff) and I went ahead and bought a $6 white LED to replace the one that came with it. So…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • I don't remember

Excellent Build Quality - Electrician Rating

Short Summary. The light in this lamp is almost useless. Alright, buy a 100 watt equivalent candelabra LED bulb from 300,000 to 5,000,000 and you'll love it. There's plenty of room for a lightbulb, so don't worry about that. The oil rubbed bronze finish is FINE. The complete mirror assembly is very well built and solid. All ports have access covers for tightening or repairing cables if necessary. I bought an oiled mirror and will be buying another mirror for another bathroom very soon. This…
