Because there's no elastic to hold it in place, you've got a shot at the "spike" jig that's located at the front of the board . So it's basically a flat piece of fabric with a drawstring. It started pulling from the front of the board, but the cord just isn't designed to be pulled all the way around the board. After about an hour of trying to break the string. It's wrong to spend.

This item is AFFORDABLE and won't even tighten over the ironing board. I am so disgusted by ANOTHER piece of junk from CHINA. Sorry for not paying attention to all the reviews - the raves MUST be fake. This thing is flimsy and very poorly made, and the tip doesn't even work. And since we're in this crown of stupidity, it's NOT easy to go back. I'm throwing it away today and finding another, better product.

First of all I liked the color and design as the color matches the color in my laundry room exactly. Hence five stars there. I gave it an overall rating of four stars due to the location of the ties that attach the cover to the board. My old cover had drawstrings on the back which were perfect for this. Everything seems to be quite simple, but at some point it just stopped pulling. I tried moving the assemblies to tighten them further but that did little to help. I have never been able to find shorter and wider ironing board covers to fit a household goddess signature ironing board (now discontinued). I saw this article. The chamomile blue underwired cover is just lovely. However, I would suggest improving the way the ironing pad attaches to the board. The lace doesn't hold the pillow well. You can't push it that hard. It needs more customization than it allows. What I need to do is take some straps with clips and place them at the bottom so the pillow doesn't hang down. I like the fabric it's made of and it's pretty easy to put on. However, I installed it on my old one just to fill it up a bit more. I'm a quilter and have recently made thousands of face masks so they were really overworked and worn out so I replaced them with this funny one! What I don't like is that the end of the cord that needs to be pulled and fastened is at the front of the ironing board where it gets thinner and you iron the sleeve etc. I think that can get in the way if you do that do…
