Very happy with the purchase. The mirror is well constructed, looks nice with the nickel finish and the 8x magnification works well.

The mirror was not the magnification stated. This is the first of two different Jerdon mirrors that I have purchased and returned for the same reason.

Not enough light. It also appears that the light has no true color. When applying make-up, colors look different in normal lighting compared to this mirror. That works well enough. It's just not bright enough.

Broke in less than a year; The power connection to the light is broken, so now the light will not work unless you hold the two pivot points of the mirror with your hands. Don't waste money. If I wanted a mirror with no light, I could spend $60 less and be a lot happier.
