Polished nickel finish goes well with Jerdon's wall mounted vanity mirror. DH needed a mirror on a stand while he sits and shaves. This mirror fits. Doesn't take up much counter space. There is a felt element attached to the bottom and I'm concerned about how durable it will be if it gets wet. This is the only downside. One side is a normal mirror and the other side is a magnifying mirror.

Update: Since the last check, the mirror is very rusty. He's standing in the bathroom, but it's not like he's been submerged in water. Terrible quality. I had to buy a $10 can of Rustoleum to save him. The mirror doesn't wash either. I'm assuming it's not a real mirror. Wouldn't recommend it. Spend more and get better. Not the best mirror and not the cheapest. The base is constantly loose and I rarely touch the thing. The climb could have been better.

Just bought the second one because the first one threw it off the counter and broke it. I've had trouble finding a replacement in stores with this finish and extension so I'm very glad this is still available online. Works great for close-ups. Nickel plated finish and classic style with pearl base looks elegant and appropriate on a wooden dressing table in the bedroom. The scale is small but it was beneficial on my desk. There is no problem seeing the whole face in a 6 inch mirror and the quality of the optics at 10x is just superb, which to my knowledge isn't necessarily the case with a smaller mirror. I bought this mirror in January 2017. About six months ago I really liked it. It started to get more and more wobbly and sand came out until about an hour ago when it was lifted the whole base just collapsed and the concrete fell out. bought (I have PCOS. if you know, you know). It's survived cross-country moves, plane flights packed at check-in, and weekend trips in a holdall. I also have a 2 year old who enjoys playing with this toy. I actually tested the thing and am happy with how it works.
