It's really pretty, a bit long on the arms but that's ok with us. It's pretty warm for not being very fat. The zipper is plastic and I'm just wondering how long it will last. We will see *update* on March 3rd 2020, my daughter wore this in heavy rain and got completely wet through the jacket and clothes.

This is clearly a quality waterproof jacket which I would have loved but it turned out to be too big. So big my 11 year old wore it instead of my 8 year old. I bought this jacket for my daughter. She's a forest student, so she spends all day outside rain or shine. She needed a raincoat that could withstand even very wet weather while keeping her clothes dry and warm underneath. Unfortunately it wasn't the right jacket! It is advertised as waterproof but I would rate it as waterproof at best. Luckily it wasn't very expensive, although it's still a shame it turned out to be a waste of money.
