I haven't used it much yet, but when I use it it seems to do the job it was made for, which is to block most of the light that can get onto your camera's screen So see you a clear and precise picture. This is a fairly standard feature on most eyecups, but being able to rotate the eyecup left or right for either eye is very handy. Time and repeated use of the camera will tell how well it holds up, but for now I'm happy with what it offers.

I rarely use the viewing screen on my T7i so I wanted something more practical than the regular eyepiece and decided to order this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this eyecup, but it just isn't for me. I think if it had a slight extension I'd probably like it better, but I have to stretch my face that close to the camera for this eyecup to use, it just doesn't make sense to me. Everything else about it is great. and if it offers what you're looking for, it's worth the price.

Expected product as advertised. The second really helps with unwanted sunlight when shooting. There is no need to squint when using this product. Closes and softens your eyes in just the right amount. Make sure you keep it in a safe temperature and environment because the better you take care of it, the longer it will last.
