I haven't used it much yet, but when I use it it seems to do the job it was made for, which is to block most of the light that can get onto your camera's screen So see you a clear and precise picture. This is a fairly standard feature on most eyecups, but being able to rotate the eyecup left or right for either eye is very handy. Time and repeated use of the camera will tell how well it holds up, but for now I'm happy with what it offers.
