A good product! suitable for audio and video accessories

Good product! Works great with my DCR-DVD650. Sometimes the on/off slide switch activates the camera a little slowly, but that's not a big problem for what I use it for. All other functions work perfectly. Much cheaper than OEM Sony!

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Once you master it, it's great!

The zoom button is a little touchy, but over time I realized how much effort it takes not to zoom in or out quickly. At first I thought I'd bring it back because the zoom buttons were so sensitive. But I was very happy to return it. So over time I've mastered the pressure required to zoom in and out more slowly. The cable is very long and longer than I need. I wrapped it around one of my sticks and then closed it. It turned out great. Several people came up to me to ask about it.

Don't forget to add the DCR-SX40 to the compatibility list!

Works very well with my Sony Handycam DCR-SX40. The cable gives me enough room to move away from the camera. I can clip it to my pants or shirt so it's not visible, and I can pause my video without having to go to the camera or stretch my arm to stop the recording. I have two flaws: 1: Doesn't switch to camera or video mode. I have to do it from my camera. 2: I have a monitor that I use to get a better view of what I'm recording and since my handheld camera only has A/VR output I have to choose

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Reliability
