Overall good boots for the price but the quality is nothing like Alpinstars. I liked the tread on the outsole of these shoes but I am returning mine because the boots had factory defects in the reflective piping and the left boot had a dent on the toe that felt like a piece of broken cardboard on the side waterproof lining.

There appears to be a design flaw. I like the boots but after a few weeks the stitching on the top of the left boot (toggle side) came undone. I changed the first pair hoping it was just that pair, but the same problem occurred with the second pair. . It says $0 refund so I hold onto them until they fall apart and then I look for better shoes.

If you order from the US and receive them in your shoe size, they run very large. But be careful, the ankle is HUGE compared to the foot. I'm a US size 11. I bought a size 10 after seeing other reviews saying they were big. The leg fits great but the zipper is not closed and cheaply made so the ankle hole is large. I don't recommend ordering these unless you plan on tucking in your pants and an extra pair of pants.

I bought them for road riding. I was looking for a shoe that was easy to put on and take off. This is just a zipper under the flap which is attached with a very strong velcro. They appear to be true to size, I wear a size 10 and that is the size I bought in the boot. I wore them for about 3 weeks and I can't say anything negative at the moment. They are very comfortable and don't need to be broken in. I think they offer adequate protection in the event of an accident. Time will tell how they…
