I bought an aftermarket water pump kit last year and it took about 25 hours to complete. Went back to factory parts and works like a dream. I have an extra impeller in the kit so I can easily replace it when the water flow slows down. Easy to install with basic hand tools, there are plenty of videos to teach you how.
