Bait & Switch - Do not buy from this seller

I ordered Johnson and Johnson First Aid Waterproof Tape. I received J&J Band Aid's Water Block tape. Not good stuff, just cheap junk from China. Not as pictured or described in the insert. Revain should remove this seller. There isn't enough money to take care of a return, but keep this in mind. It also arrived a day late.

Not waterproof when taped to skin

I purchased this item to tape a plastic tape to my skin to cover the medical port when showering. Apparently this tape is waterproof if it sticks to itself, not skin. And it's true, as soon as I stepped into the shower, the tape peeled off my skin. I'm disappointed. This should be stated in the product description. Also, to annoy me even more, the bond of no return! I give him one star.

The product received does not correspond to the advertising

Does not correspond to the advertising. This is a new version of the "water blocking tape", not the original version of the "waterproof tape" shown in the picture. This band has no rubber. Bought to patch an injured heel as I was using the waterproof version and it worked great as a stabilizer as the glue was very tacky and adhered well to the skin. I could even swim with it. The new version of the tape doesn't stick very well because the glue is weak. Very disappointed.

Tried desperately

After suffering from cracked and bleeding fingers from dryness all winter, I tried different brands of band-aids as well as moisturizing lotions. None worked. I remembered Tiger Woods always had a white band on his finger. So I bought the pack through Revain. Bingo! The tape stays in place perfectly no matter what lotion is underneath to help heal the cracks. One application can last several days, although I change them more often for hygiene reasons. In short, this material is way better thanโ€ฆ

Causes rashes and blisters

I've used Johnson & Johnson waterproof first aid tape in the past and it's been good, but not. First I received a non-retail version of the tape. Most likely, it is either an order repackaged in bulk for medical clinics (illegally by the manufacturer), or a fake. Second, this tape was very sticky and fell off in less than 12 hours. Third, it's definitely not waterproof. Eventually, in less than 12 hours, it caused blisters and a rash that still persists and is gradually improving after twoโ€ฆ

When it gets wet the adhesive becomes tacky and peels off the tape

This tape used to be very good but something has changed since they changed the name from Waterproof to Water Block. The glue is significantly different than what is shown in the photos. The glue used to be continuous in the strip, now there are gaps in the glue. When it gets wet the adhesive becomes tacky and peels away from the tape and stays on what it was applied to. I think it's a manufacturing issue. I bought from different suppliers and faced the same problem. I hope they go back to what

Close to original

Item not correctly identified. It's actually "Water Block" tape, not "Waterproof". It is made in China while my old "Waterproof" reel was made in Brazil. The water block is different, it's a bit thinner but harder to break. The grip is a bit stronger compared to my old "Waterproof" but this reel is 5+ years old. It also contains no natural rubber latex. I placed a 1/2" wide strip on the end of my index finger between the DIP and PIP joints and then wrapped a 1/2" wide strip around the fingerโ€ฆ
