Based on my observations, these cotton buds are not as soft as they claim to be. While they do have a good amount of cotton on the ends, they still feel scratchy when using them to clean ears or apply makeup. The only positive aspect is the convenient drum packaging, but it's not worth the discomfort. Overall, I would not recommend these cotton buds.

DO NOT buy these Q-Tips if you believe they are genuine Johnson Q-Tips/Q-Tips. You are not. They are no different than what you can buy at your local pharmacy for a much lower price. Sticks are no longer plastic as plastic is no longer made for environmental reasons. So now you get very thin paper sticks and some cotton wool on the ends. I thought they were tiny or something, for babies! But not. They are just ordinary cotton swabs like adults. They got three stars because they're just good adult Q-Tips.
