I just moved to Key West and was eaten alive. I had to use Deet every time I left the house, regardless of the time. I was sick of the raid smell of deet and my sister-in-law told me the substance was repulsive. It really is like that! And the smell isn't the traditional baby powder smell, which I don't like. it is very soft. it is also an excellent moisturizer.

My main reason for purchasing this product was the rave reviews I read about this product that keeps mosquitoes from biting you. I'm always the target of little guys. I can't walk in DEET all the time! It had no effect on her thirst for my blood. I smeared it thickly all over my body and still got a lot of stitches. As for the lotion, it's really moisturizing and smells fresh. But I won't buy it again as there are other lotions that I prefer.
