Suitable for the average user

Everything is OK at best. I think I'll go back to Klein and leave this just in case. The tip is rounded which makes cutting through any type of cable tie difficult and it takes a bit more force to cut through a cable like a category 6 cable - even more than my 3 year old toddler used to have before I left it on the job site . All in all, it's fine if you use them occasionally, but I'd say no if you're out in the field.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything is OK

Nice electric scissors.

Purchased to replace the pair I received in the Ethernet Cable Management and Termination Kit. This pair is better than the set I had. Sharp straight out of the case. I had to loosen the middle screw a bit because it was very difficult to turn from the factory. Now they're just a little stiff. I use wired networks and they work very well in the office and home environments that I work in.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Inaccurate description

I ordered these scissors instead of the Klein power scissors because they were advertised as stainless steel. They are actually vanadium steel judging by the packaging they came in. In fact, stainless steel would be a poor material choice for electrician's scissors because it's too soft. Otherwise the scissors seem to be satisfactory.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing here

Not as sharp as Fluke D Snips. Similar feeling.

I bought these because they looked the same as the Fluke D-scissors and were half the price. They have a slightly different feel and are not as sharp as leeches. I will use them until they wear out and buy another Fluke. Edit: I bought 2 of these and the first one is so worn Juat Cut 1 Cat6 was rough. So he lived 2 months. I'm waiting 2 months for the 2. Order Fluke d shears now in case anything happens to them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

A bit awkward to use due to the size of the finger holes, they are short and short but they are very strong and work exactly for the purpose I intended to cut more complex objects than one should be using an ordinary pair of scissors, I just don't think they're good for long term use, just the occasional cut, they're great here.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Doesn't work for me.

After over 35 years in the telecom industry these scissors are some of the worst I have ever used. New scissors may be too loose, too tight, blunt and have no tips. I bought ten pairs of these headphones primarily as Christmas gifts last year for each of the guys I work with. Bought two more pairs for myself recently. The first pair was too tight and the second pair was very boring. Both pairs did not have scissor tips, making it impossible to remove the window from any of the panels we used…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good cutter for the price

These electrician/judge cutters are reasonably priced, they are very strong and cut low voltage wire like CAT-5e with no problem. I don't know what max size they will work with but they will certainly work for phone and data cables. My only complaint with these scissors is that the finger holes are a bit small. I don't think I have big fingers but it was a little awkward getting them out of the finger holes. So I changed my workflow to trim, strip and trim everything at the same time and then…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
