Description of πŸ”Œ Silver Plated Copper Insulated by Jonard

VERSATILE USE: Kynar wire is flexible, lightweight, and strong, making it ideally suited in wire wrap, power supply, medical, and aerospace applications such as circuit board prototyping because of its lighter weight and smaller overall diameter. LOW STRIP FORCE: Low strip force Kynar insulation is further processed to provide a low strip force for use with cut-strip-wrap bits and sleeves. HIGH CONDUCTIVITY: Oxygen-free high conductivity (OHFC) silver-plated copper conductor provides exceptional electrical conductivity and flexibility. HARSH RESISTANCE: Kynar insulation provides high temperature resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, and makes the wire resistant to an extensive range of chemicals including most inorganic and organic acids, bases, alcohols, halogenated solvents, and aliphatic & aromatic hydrocarbons. UL LISTED: This Kynar wire meets or exceeds UL 1422 standards to ensure high quality and excellent safety.

Great Copper Insulation

My analysis of this product showed that it is perfect for any industrial and scientific wiring needs. The insulation was thick and sturdy, giving me the confidence that it will hold up against wear and tear. The silver plating also made for a great conductivity, which is essential for any electrical component. However, the price may be a bit steep for those on a tight budget.

Pros
  • Thick and sturdy insulation, great conductivity
Cons
  • Price may be a bit steep for some

Actually 26 ga not 24 ga

The wire itself is pretty good but I put 26 ga with a 24 ga label on it. So be careful if you need exactly 24 ga and/or 26 ga won't work.

Pros
  • Electric
Cons
  • boring packaging

Ideal for tight spaces

I've used many different types of wire and I think this is the best option when you're looking for something flexible. but strong.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Items
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
