Easy to use continuity tester

This continuity tester was easy to use and seemed to work well. The instructions could have been written more clearly, but it was easy to understand.

Pros
  • FULL DISPLAY: All tested connections are shown at once
Cons
  • Some cons

Easy to use and works well.

Is something wrong with your device? Is it an HDMI cable or something? This tool is easy to use and quickly identifies faulty/unreliable HDMI cables. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • ACCURATE TEST: Evaluates HDMI cables for shorts, opens, or misconnections for each pair of wires
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good, but. for HDMI cable

Quick and easy to use tester for some lengths of HDMI cable but didn't work at all on the 150ft fiber cable, which I wanted to test after installation. Need another tester for longer cables.

Pros
  • SCAN MODE: allows you to see every single connection being tested
Cons
  • Expensive

Suitable for testing HDMI cables

Glad it works. There are only two modes: all 20 lights and scrolling. I had two faulty wires running through the wall that I was trying to fix and found I needed an additional mode to be able to test individual strands. I ended up using my multimeter to identify the pins and securing the cable with a solder connector on one side. Only after that I could use this tool to check if the cable works. I wish they had the ability to pause the scroll test for individual threads. That would save me 4-5…

Pros
  • REMOTE CONTROL: The remote control can be detached from the main unit so you can quickly and easily test installed or very long HDMI cables
Cons
  • Requires socket

Okay but: HDMI Cables

A quick and easy to use tester for some lengths of HDMI cable, but it didn't work at all on the 150ft fiber optic cable I was trying to test after installation. Need another tester for longer cables.

Pros
  • Audio and Video Accessories
Cons
  • I'll write back
