Ordered these for my teenage son who is taking tap dance lessons for musical theater and he loves it. Would give them 5 stars but he has to double knot his shoes because the laces come undone easily. He would actually give them 4.5 stars if we could. His teacher even remarked on how clear they sound when you tap them.

Good shoes, laces look good. They have a chunky black sole next to the tap and the material is stiffer than the first $100 pair. They are also larger overall and more like regular dress shoes. Overall my son loves them and says they feel great!

Bought for a teenager who didn't have shoes to perform on. Strong odor, but that's to be expected with synthetic shoes. Overall it worked great! The other dancers thought it was expensive shoes and asked for it! I liked the split sole. It's great to have the best last minute option to save the day!

This is my very first pair of tap shoes. The size is perfect. The shoes could not wrap around my legs as tightly as I wanted. However, it's still comfortable, works great, and is lightweight. The shoe's footpad is very flimsy and feels cheap, although the shoe itself is solid.
