Advent Wreath: Journey to Bethlehem Review

Yes, purple, but I don't find it inappropriate as Advent is a time of preparation and the liturgical color of this season is purple. The wreath is beautiful, but not tasteless. We have wanted an advent wreath for many years and have done a lot of research looking for a wreath that we will use for many of our family's Christmas season. We are very happy that we chose this one.

Love this Christmas wreath - a great addition to our Christmas table. Yes, it's purple with gold undertones, but purple is the holiday color - I was planning on dyeing it but we decided we liked it the way it is. We placed ours on a gold saucer and added some greenery and a white candle in the center of a pillar in a glass hurricane - it was beautiful! The scenes depicted are so beautiful and we were glad to have the added reminder that Jesus is the reason for this season.

I was sent a wreath that was damaged from the rain. Since the packaging was ok, this should have happened before the packaging. Also, the piece that broke off was not included in the kit. That being said, the real surprise was how LILA it is. It contains some "golden wax" but it's purple. The picture doesn't show it well. I had imagined it to be more metallic. I thought it was rain but no color other than gold was mentioned. Overall disappointed and I will be sending it back.

Such a cute Advent wreath! It's heavy and well made. In the form of a crown and the crimson color of royalty. The included candles fit perfectly in their holders and the story between the candles tells of the star over Bethlehem, the astrologers searching for the star, the shepherds following the star and finally the Christ child in the manger. I can't wait to use this with my 3 daughters. They are old enough for longer Adventist readings. So excited to add this to our Christmas memories!

This beautiful wreath will be a lasting addition to your annual decor. It is very strong and heavy enough to prevent tipping over. Candles hold firmly in place and are not afraid to fall out. The colors are beautiful and I can't imagine really noticing a color difference when the house is dimmed and candles are lit. The reason I didn't receive an advent wreath with a real wreath is that sometimes they don't come out of storage as well as they come in. didn't want to worry.
