Worked great. I'm glad there are additions now.

I don't need waterproofing but I kept one star because the title says so. bozo Call it what it is: a full bag but very useful, inexpensive, splash-proof project boxes. Opens perfectly, just use a small screwdriver. watch the video I was able to create a clean setup for both the display and the brain. And I still have a full bag lol.

Great value for money

They are durable because they are plastic, almost metal to me. They are big and easy to use. It's a bit difficult to open, but necessary for a watertight box. Because it's plastic, it's easy to cut holes for cords or whatever you're working on. Cutting a hole can create a "soft spot" in the structure, so be careful where you place the box afterwards.

Fine. Fragile tabs that break easily.

They looked good at first glance, but after only a few opening and closing operations the small, fragile plastic tabs broke and ripped off the lid, which can now only be held in place with tape. or glue. Drilling holes was fine as long as you use really sharp drill bits so they don't move. Not the best quality, but ok for "one off" projects or simple prototyping.

Used for external CCTV camera body

I drilled 2 holes on the back of the body for wall mounting from inside. I then also drilled holes to allow the wires to fit inside the box where they will connect. This has turned my security camera installation from amateur to pro and after isolating and mounting my cables in this box my IP cameras have better WiFi connection. Very very happy. This plastic is a tough shell but easily pierced. These things work great as little junction boxes.

An unusual find for small electronic projects

Ideal for very small projects. I used one for them to mount my DC 7-90V ammeter. Easy to drill (I used a 1.5" hole) and well-done plating. It's not very thick, but it's not too thin either. I wouldn't say it's completely waterproof, but it's definitely waterproof. A trick to hit them, but once you've done that, it's not a problem. It can be used in many different ways, especially with the amount that's included. Plus, the simple black matte look doesn't make it stand out for beginners really…
