It may have a magnetic connection, but the strap is not a magnet, so you need to screw a threaded screw into the magnetic connection case. It works, but is a little misleading. I think it works for $20

I love it to hold my iPad Mini. There is a sense of solidity in everything. I've never had such a problem with a broken locking lever. It doesn't look like I will. You just have to be careful when you lift it up to unscrew and remove it, that's all. So take care and you will never have a problem with it breaking.

To adjust a star for the width of the strap - I can only fit three fingers. Dock the second star because screwing and unscrewing this thing from the back of the case is tricky. in the entry about the magnet holding the tip behind. MISSING MAGNETIC COMPONENT.

As this is a Mag Connect product I thought it would attach to the iPad with a magnet. Instead it uses a thumbscrew which is very difficult for me to use as my hands have very little feeling due to Carpol Tunnel Syndrome. Another problem with the thumbscrew is that it's easy to lose as it can't be locked when it's not on the tablet.

I use this strap all the time with their thin Magconnect case for iPad mini 5. The iPad case comes with the Magconnect ball mount in my car uses a navigation screen and then I have to add a strap while I work so I can take notes etc. The strap is incredibly awkward to put on and take off. The small screw on the back is floating and easy to lose. It takes a minute to catch threads, but once you do, it's forever. Taking off is the same. This strap would get 5 stars if it had a magnetic feature…

Non-magnetic, only way to attach to other accessories is to lift the handle with three threaded screws, turns too easily, frankly, the worst accessory in the whole line . They advertise the Magconnect line as Latches and it's going nowhere. It's a comfortable wrist strap, but it twists so easily that it's practically useless for holding anything.

Sturdy case, I didn't buy any magnetic connection testers. The only downside I found was the lack of a plug-in keyboard, which turns my Switch from tablet to tablet.
