📺 Polar White Exterior TV Jack by JR Products - Model 47755 Review

Slightly smaller than the broken one on my van but looks good and much better than a broken cord or one dangling from the side.

Installed on my RV a year ago. He turned yellow from the sun. The existing 12 year old that came with the motorhome is still white. Cheap plastic junk.

This device measures only 2 x 2 inches and is 0.50 inches thick. I was expecting at least 3 x 3 inches, but it still worked. The kit included 2 screws that matched the color of the device.

Completely useless and overpriced. The distance between the blanket and the body is at least 1/8 inch, no defects, this is a cheap way of making. No padding anywhere.

I installed two of these outside my fifth wheel to replace the flat cables I ran under the windows. So far, so good. I've smeared all over and haven't seen any water damage. It's not high quality, but it's understated, looks good, and works. The hinge is very stiff but I'll only use it a couple of times a year so I'm hoping it won't be a problem.

The unit arrived on time and as advertised. I installed it outside of our RV as the original factory unit wasn't working properly and I wanted the cord to go in somewhere else. It was easy to install and works great. The connections are tight, there is no signal loss through the device. I would buy again. I have purchased many JR products over the years and they have a good history of providing quality products at a reasonable price.

Please note that this connector cover is "weatherproof" and not waterproof. I suggest that if you drill a hole in the wall of your RV to route the cable, you drill it at a slope to allow water from inside the campground to drain to the outside. When drilling from the inside, drill a slightly sloping hole through the outside wall. If you are drilling from the outside, drill the hole slightly inward. Based on good reviews I was expecting something nicer. It doesn't look like it will last long. It's ok for the price, but it's not what I would call a high quality device like a Hubbell or Leviton electric device. It's just a pair of molded plastic pieces pressed together.
