Enhanced Round Electric Cable Hatch with Back - JR Products 541-3-A in Black Review

I just needed a simple hatch so I could route the EV charging cable through the garage wall. I cut off the back (inside) to allow the large plug to fit through. Great easy way.

After finding and killing a HUGE rat in my basement I realized that he/she would get in with my water hose and monkey bar and then squeeze out of the water compartment. basement. This device just snaps into place and BAM, no more rats. Now I see that there are 2 screw holes where to fix it more firmly, but for now just inserting it was enough.

I've been looking to make sure I can find one with flexible fingers. Instead, they are quite fragile. Trying to push a 30A plug through, I broke one and cracked open the other. My old was flexible enough. I'm sure if I use this I'll break off more fingers as you have to push the plug in a bit to close the door. I'm not sure, I'm throwing it away.

Replaced a broken sunroof on our 2001 Coleman Taos with this sunroof. The inner size is perfect, but the outer ring is about 1 inch larger than our original. Our original came with three self-tapping screws, so I twisted and screwed those in. No fit issues but I had to remove and replace it because I forgot to put butyl tape on the back ring to seal it and keep water out.

I regret buying this sunroof not because it looks ugly and seems to be pretty well made, but because the hatch door comes loose every time you open it to pull the cord out. The hinge system needs to be redesigned so that the door always stays attached, not every time you open it. My old one had to be replaced because it was old and yellowed but still works much better than this new one.

OEM part that came with my trailer. But after purchasing this to replace the original manhole cover, I decided to use Marinco's separate cord instead: Marinco (30RPCRV) 30 Amp Right Angle Locking Cord, w/ ParkPower 301ELRV 30A Plug, White w/Stainless Steel Finish. The idea of shoving the cable inside the camper was never a good one. However, there are no complaints about JR products. I kept the original part for more than ten years.
