I've had these cables for over a year now and they both work with no problems. I ordered these to replace the crappy cheap cables that came with a couple of units I have. They are woven, strong and really durable. The quality of these cables and all other cables I have received from JSAUX is excellent.

The case is a flexible yet strong and protective fiber coating unlike the typical plastic backed case which tends to crack in cold weather. That's good because the purpose I wanted to use this cable for is a GPS navigator in the car. The original cable that came with the polyester sheath has snapped and broken and no longer provides a connection. So five stars!

This cable is great for updating my Garmin GPS. The only plug that came with it was in the "cigarette lighter" socket in the car. It was inconvenient to update the maps in the car as it supposedly stayed connected to a power source PLUS had Wi-Fi available. I brought it home, plugged it into my new cable, plugged it into a USB port and it worked GREAT!

I used this cable to connect my old Canon T3i directly to my computer. After a little over an hour, it started showing shutdown errors. Any movement of the cable quickly connects/disconnects messages from the computer. I replaced it with an older cable and the problem was gone. If you just want to use the cable to power the device, that might be fine. But it is unreliable for data transmission over long periods of time. This is an overview of the Mini USB Cable, JSAUX 2 Pack. I bought these cables to connect my Aukey DR01 DVR to my computer to upload video files. None of the cables work. Not only can't they connect to data, they won't even turn on the DVR. The camera starts to turn on, then turns off and keeps trying to start. I'll try a different brand of cable. I bought them because they are gold plated where the terminals touch case ground. I needed a better grounding conductor (shield) to reduce noise and provide a good, low-impedance ground between the computer and the device I was using. (Well built USB 2.0 Mini-B connection) But there is no line between the two ends on the screen. What use are gold-plated connectors if there is no connection to the shielding ground?
