The nylon braided cable seems stronger than the cable that came with my expensive MacBook Pro and has a better grip. But perhaps the most significant difference (aside from the length) is the durable black rubber used to protect the ends from damage. So if a better quality cable is so cheap, why doesn't Apple use it, especially in their luxury models?

It looks like a high quality cable. We've had it for a month now and we haven't been very kind to it, but it still looks brand new. We use it with fast charging and haven't had any problems. Hopefully.

I think this is a must have for anyone who has a new iPad that came out recently (last year or so). The USB-C cable that I received in the original box is barely long enough to put my iPad on the table even when plugged in. I love this blue braided 10ft cable. It looks and feels like a high quality cable. Don't worry about the cable bending back and forth where it connects to the ends of the USB-C cable, as there are amplified amplifiers at each end of the cable.
