Perfect replacement OEM

This item is a perfect replacement for the assembly I came with JT sprockets. It is highly recommended to use vernier calipers to measure the rivets during installation. It doesn't take much pressure from a good quality chain tool to pop the rivets.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • 0

Probably good for a slower bike.

This installed correctly, it matched my JT 530 chain but broke on my 07 r1 within a week. Luckily no engine damage. The chain guard just broke. Save a possible deadlock and buy some kind of rivet! Just make sure you use the right riveting tool!

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Flare conservative

I ended up ordering 4 links in 2 separate orders because the rivets kept breaking. My service manual for my Honda says the rivet needs to be flared 0.5-0.8 millimeters, but these links won't come close, 0.3 millimeters at most, or they'll break. It would be nice if the flashlight spec was in the link instead of trial and error. I hope this helps people not to make the same mistakes as me.

Pros
  • That's awesome
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfect fit for 1998 Honda VFR800

This is a great fantastic chain for the price. I bought it along with jtf339.17 (front sprocket) and jtr1340.43 (rear sprocket) on my 5th gen VFR800 and installation was a breeze. Everything went smoothly with my EK chain tool. The only problem I've ever had from these threads is the master link. Assembling the main link is a little tedious and the line between right and stupid is fine.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

This seller is friendly and knowledgeable. support feedback.

I can't give a full review as they don't fit my network (fault of the chain seller not the main link). These guys were more than willing to answer my questions and their practice seems friendly and reliable. I know this master link is stronger than my previous one that failed. I kept this part because it was my mistake (I made a guess on Link 530). I couldn't get any information about the chain I already had, so this review is for support only.

Pros
  • Excellent general qualities
Cons
  • Not bad

Bought last year. There was almost no stretch for about 6,000 miles. Then he started pulling like crazy. An adjustment must be made after driving less than 100 km. Was very impressed with it before it started to stretch. There's a decent long ride coming up next week and I don't want to doubt my chain. I thought it was less than half the price of Japanese chains so I just ordered another one. If there are problems with the new one, I'll let you know. I ride it on a 2001 Yamaha FZ1.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Compatibility
