Purchased this as a "one night" accessory to wear with my navy dress for my grandson's spring wedding. It actually looked ok with the dress; the lace covering was a kind of elegant addition. It's stiff, not pliable and of course, doesn't hold a lot. There's a pretty cheap looking chain attached to it and I stuffed it inside the bag where it wouldn't even show and carried it like a clutch instead. Definitely worth buying! It's pretty cheap and the quality is way better than I expected. The chain is annoying, cuz the lace of my dress got stuck in it EVERY SINGLE TIME and I got annoyed and decided to carry it without the chain. The inside pockets are handy. I needed a black evening bag for an upcoming wedding and I received it today. As far as looks go, it's very pretty and looks elegant. But, when you are the one carrying it, you can tell it's probable some type of stiff cardboard underneath the black fabric. That's fine with me because I'm probably just going to wear it once, so I don't need the top-of-the line quality just for those few hours. It seems durable enough to last as long as I will need it. As others have stated, it is a little "flimsy" feeling, but since I am only using this once, at my daughter's wedding, I do not see that as a major issue. It is a very pretty purse and I am happy I got it.

Did the job for a formal cocktail party though if you find yourself needing an 'evening bag' often I would go with something more quality that will hold up better. The purse is extremely stiff and though it should be large enough given the size and depth, because of the stiffness you can really only put one layer of stuff. So for example if you put your makeup compact next to your lipstick it makes the purse bulge too much to close. You have to stack your lipstick on top of your compact. Hope…
