Really bad quality product. It has poor workmanship and is made of cheap rubber and aluminum. Two bolts are brushed aluminum out of the box.

I use these to stabilize cardboard displays on my drafting table while I attach components for my historical collages before sending them to the maker. They mount securely to a 1" raised tabletop and rubber components protect the table.

Attention.1. The jacking screw is too short and as a result the clamp will not grip a surface less than 1/2 inch thick. Fastener.3 The rubber gasket at the head of the screw is of poor quality, loose and can fall off at any time, exposing the end of the screw, which can damage the soft surface.

I bought these to attach a Striker 4Plus sonar to the gunwale of a canoe. Using two clamps for this may be overkill. One would probably be fine. Works perfectly! Very strong, light and strong metal clips. Threaded holes already drilled. Just add hardware. A sample of an Azek plastic floor was used. There are many fishing uses for this product. I'm thinking of buying more to make some PVC rod holders for my canoe. Great product for the price!

The 3/8 tapped holes are cut after the screw is attached to them. I ordered two of these and both were taken down after the same period of use. The metal they are made of is very weak. The clips also don't reach the top of the mount, so I had to add filler between the top of the mount and the screws to attach thinner surfaces. These are really useful and durable clips for attaching camera, lighting or audio equipment. The top of the clamp is notched so that it can be attached to either a round pipe or a flat surface. I like that there is thick vinyl on both ends of the clamp mechanism so it doesn't ruin the items the clamps are attached to (usually a door or bookshelf for me).
