This is a great book with beautiful and durable pages inside. I used mine for a year to make a photo album for my boyfriend and he thought it was cute. The spine has no cover, so it's a little bad. I'm crazy but it works. You can also write on the cover, but this must be in markers, not markers. The opposite is true for inside pages, otherwise your marker will bleed all over your pages.

It's difficult to find a scrapbook these days that only has paper pages. Many scrapbooks come with plastic inserts that contain scrapbook-sized photos or a whole piece of paper. The benefit of this book is that it is a book bound for mailing, so you can add plastic pages that can hold photos and such. I am completely satisfied with his purchase. I actually bought another one as a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas and will be buying accessories to go with it. The perfect Christmas present!

The edges of the cover looked worn and frayed when received and the pages inside were poorly installed. Found out when we opened the binding to check that the holes/paper weren't evenly aligned, so everything was a bit crooked. We bought replacement paper which we ended up installing so my teenage daughter could start making her scrapbook for her great grandmother to see when they last visited together. Very disappointed. This is not the quality I expected from Pioneer. :-(
