Jumbo Mosquito Net Bed Queen Review

I used this to protect my vegetables from Japanese beetles and other insects. but mostly those awful JBs. They work amazing! This photo is a bit of a draft, but you get the idea. I easily removed the metal wiring by simply gently pulling to the sides where the two ends meet. very easy without holes. It works great! Although sometimes I save dragonflies. 😐 But it definitely works and for $30 they are awesome!

Purchased for outdoor use. Specially designed to cover the ground with a picnic blanket. When I hung this up on the tree, the net didn't open up the way I imagined. The ring at the top is small, so it makes sense that it doesn't stretch too far. Sticks and grass get caught in this net very easily. I think it saved the bugs. But the netting itself was more of a hassle than applying bug spray.

This net is fine. I actually bought another net from Bed, Bath and Beyond which is of much better quality, actually quite nice. It was $30 while this one was $10. However, the problem with the BBB grid is that the pages are stacked on top of each other. This is a godsend for mosquitoes, but where I live there are scorpions and other inventive nocturnal crawlies and this net is perfect for that. I bought this to hang over my small black raspberry bed to prevent the birds from eating the fruit before it was harvested. Finding a net of the right texture to hang and the right size is not easy. The trellis in the yard is expensive. For what I needed, this pretty much serves the purpose.
