This is the second gas bottle I've bought from Justrite, another 2-1/2 gallon. Both are excellent in that they make a great seal and I feel safe with them. I used to be able to carry petrol in the trunk of my car and the smell of petrol would not penetrate the car. I suspect this will work as well. I have two minor complaints about this one gallon volume. I like this gas cartridge. I looked for banned Blitz plastic cans on Ebay and used them for $15-$30. Came here and found her and couldn't be happier. I love the design of the handle so you can easily pour with one hand. People said the spring was dense and they didn't like it when they filled a can at a gas station.
