Description of Justrite 14160 Polyethylene Stainless Fittings

Type I safety can used to safely store, transport, and dispense flammable liquids; has an oval shape to help conserve shelf space. Made of HDPE, which weighs less than steel and is resistant to dents, punctures, and certain chemicals; stainless steel fittings are resistant to rust and corrosion. Spout cap self-closes to help prevent leaks or spills; trigger enables precise pouring. Flame arrester helps prevent liquids inside the can from igniting and keep flames from spreading. Integrated, current-carrying carbon insert facilitates grounding and helps prevent static sparks.

Reliable and Durable Hazardous Material Fittings

This product really impressed me with its reliability and durability when handling hazardous materials... Based on my observations it was well-built with high-quality materials that hold up well in industrial and scientific settings. The stainless steel fittings were a nice added touch and made the product feel even sturdier. Get a metal can of Justirite and forget it. forever

If I did it again I would choose a metal can, WHY? Low center of gravity for safe transport, metal mechanism on a metal can is 100x better (comparing two plastic cans is utter rubbish). The control lever is tight in hand, it moves compared to a metal can, the carrying handle is not so convenient. (I leave that to my wife as I figured it would be lighter and easier to use with a funnel specifically designed to work with it. It's a flop! I keep falling and spilling fuel everywhere during use…
