Good concept, quality issues. Leaking at the seams.

I never leave reviews but I think it might be helpful for others. I was hoping for a gas cartridge that would not let gas fumes through when filling up at a gas station. Filling up was easy, but on the way home I smelled gas. Links can sit outside at night. A ring of moisture remains at the bottom of the glass the next morning. Yes, the bottom seam and about an inch on the sides appear to have been wet with gas. Again sat on paper towels all night and the paper towels turned yellow from the…

Great Can!: Health & Safety Products

I have two Justrite cans of this type - a 1 gallon that I use for 2 cycle mixes and one for other equipment. I know metal canisters help keep gasoline volatile much better than other materials as long as the hole is tightly capped when not in use. It can do just that. It is well built and does a very good job of preventing the petrol from evaporating thanks to a strong spring that keeps the cap tight over the opening. First off I have to say yes it is durable and well made. This can be fine if you want to get to a gas station quickly to fill up your small gardening tools, but not ideal for seasonal fuel storage or using as an emergency fuel station for your car. Two things are really disturbing. me about this product, one of which is that I had to go for the "Accuflow" version. Cons #1: When you open the lid, you literally pour into the included plastic funnel. I found it very messy trying to fill the car. I
