They ruined my positive JVC image now they suck

Honestly I like the brand but the headphones themselves are complete crap, as soon as I went out in the cold the wires hardened and the sound quality became a lot bad and after about a week it got worse until you couldn't hear it at all. They may be good for those who live in warmer climates or don't need them for everyday use like me.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long wait

I honestly like the brand but the headphones themselves are complete crap as soon as I went out in the cold the wires and the Sound quality got very poor and after about a week it got progressively worse until it was completely inaudible. Pros
  • Like everyone else
Cons

It's the color you see in the picture, not the description

First of all, these are my favorite in-ear headphones. I am a regular customer buying Revain for the first time. They're ideal for bassheads - they have bigger drivers than most budget headphones and they sound great in every genre I listen to. I couldn't be happier with them. I'm by no means a music lover, and I've never tried super-expensive "reference" headphones (the most I've ever spent was $60 - it was a waste), but if you want to get your skull vibrating If the bass drops off, it's…

Pros
  • 3.94ft (1.2m) Gold Plated Slim L-Plug iPhone Compatible Cable
Cons
  • Requires a wall outlet

Mech. OK. Bass response isn't as good as the first JVC XXplosive headphones I bought a few years ago. Sounds a bit cheap and trite. Good for audiobooks and podcasts, but probably not the best option for music lovers. On the other hand, there is a built-in microphone, so I can use these headphones with my phone when using it as a phone and not just an audio player. But back to the cons, they aren't as durable as the original JVC earbuds I bought and this new pair doesn't have that cute hinged…

Pros
  • Super deep bass ports and 8.5mm neodymium drivers deliver superior bass sound
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not as good as JVC HAFX1X Xtreme-Xplosivs

I bought a pair of JVC HAFX1X headphones in 2012 and they have served me well for the past 8 years. I've mainly used them as cheap headphones to take around the world. They were lightweight, extremely portable, and came with a carrying case. The bass quality was phenomenal and they really felt like a pair of quality headphones at an extremely affordable price. They were also stylish and reliable. They've worn so much over the years I thought they were resilient. The only downside was that they…
