I have been die cutting for over 20 years Years of rubber and have been using a Carl rotary cutter for 10. 2 years ago I switched to a professional 12" Carl Cutter and I love it. This is the first time I've had to change blades.

I'm so disappointed I cut tons of cardboard. I went to replace my blade with a new set and the first blade of the two sets I put in had either excess glue or metal resulting in jagged edges on the cardboard with every cut. Then I put in the second blade from the 2 pack and all my parts have a slight curve or deviate from it. Now I'm not sure if it's related to the blade (I think) or if it's related to the new mat I bought at the same time. :(

I don't think love is the right word for five stars but we have a 15 inch trimmer and need a new timepiece from time to time. Especially if you cut a lot of photo paper. For some reason does it start pulling photo paper earlier than other types of cards or paper? I used to buy 4-5 sets I think but I can't find them anymore. I don't feel the need for an outer shell to prevent cuts. These scabbards don't fit well in the small storage space and I have an old scabbard that contains a lot of blades…
