Great for my 2012 Audi A6 3.0T

Perfect fit for my 2012 Audi A6 3.0T. Supplied with both rubber seals/rings. One to seal the filter housing to the engine and the other with a tab that sits in the housing and seals the filter and housing.

Check your seller. fits oil filter

O ring was the wrong size. My car was leaking oil. I was very disappointed. I need to go back to the dealer more specifically because I have ordered K&N filters for my cars and have never had a problem. Otherwise, K&N is a great and reliable brand.

Came with the wrong oil filter cover gasket!

The filter came with the wrong oil filter cover gasket. The car began to leak, 2 liters of oil were consumed. I had to buy a new filter from a local parts store. The gasket was replaced with a new one and the leak was fixed. Now I can't return the product because I need to replace the filter. Do not buy.

Fits and works well!

Fits my 2006 Audi A6 Avant 3.2 perfectly. Both O-rings are true to size. Be sure to replace both with each replacement. The local parts store recommended K&N as one of the best quality filters available and I have had good experiences with that brand. The quality of oil filters is more important than many people think.

Can't hold up - performance parts and accessories

When I first bought this, to my surprise part of the filter came loose from the top and bottom round rubber pieces in my Audi's oil filter housing Q7 It took me a while to tidy up the details. I bought another K&N as a replacement not knowing this would happen. I had to get back in. He hesitated a lot. I will update my review and post a photo. I hope it's not the same.

FYI. Had to return as it is not for 2014 Audi Q5 3.0L TDI. 4 stars because it is a good filter. There is conflicting information on the web. The K&N website doesn't say exactly that it fits the diesel version (only the petrol is listed). K&N service said it would fit. Various websites and Revain state that it is not suitable. After ordering I'd say it's about an inch longer compared to the OEM TDI filter (plus no valve at the bottom). I would just settle for the exact OEM replacement: MAHLE…
