I purchased these boots in April 2018 and FIVE months later after only using them for the late snow season and rainy days that The tip of one of the shoes broke, and the soles of the heels were punctured. This is a very flexible boot that can be used as a snow boot. I disagree with previous reviewers who say it's not possible. It is not insulated but lined. I have attached photos. The boot is covered with a layer of thin fleece over the entire surface of the boot, including around the bottom of the foot. Are there warmer, fully insulated boots that are more durable than these? - Yes. But they are also much more voluminous. I wanted flexible rubber for my kids as they spend a lot of time walking…
