Warm and sweet but broke in the first week

I loved these boots for my son, they have a nice lining to keep his feet warm in the snow. The problem is that one of the top hooks broke the first week he had them.

Pros
  • Great boots. The great fit keeps your feet warm and keeps the rain out. Love it. I recommend it.
Cons
  • The synthetic upper is breathable, which makes your feet sweat and stink.

just arrived Be strong!

Just arrived, looks very good and well made. They looked so narrow but my son's foot slipped in and I actually think he has a slightly wide foot. I ordered 1 size up but always do that with winter boots. Hope they are doing well this winter!

Pros
  • Good quality boots
Cons
  • Boots may not have enough room for a child's foot to grow.

My twins love them well for me

These boots are amazing! My little one can put them on and take them off by himself, they seem to adhere well to the sole compared to other well-known brands and feel nice and warm! Bonus points for a Canadian brand.

Pros
  • Warm and comfortable boots! I was amazed at how strong they are.
Cons
  • Boots may not have adequate insulation for very cold temperatures.

Not waterproof: my review

My son walked less than an hour in these boots in less than an inch of snow and when we took his boots off his feet were wet. Inside is also more than 2 days to dry. We've had good luck with Kamick boots in the past and I've just ordered another pair to replace them so I have faith in the brand but not in this style.

Pros
  • There the size was perfect and they are totally waterproof and keep my son's feet warm and dry. Great boots.
Cons
  • Boots may not fit

Perfect fit and comfort for ski touring.

I'm so glad we chose the Kamik Kids Luke Snow Boots for our 4 year old son. They were perfect for playing in the snow all week. He rode in it, drove snowmobiles, and built snowmen in deep snow all week. They are at least 2/3 waterproof. I highly recommend these boots for a child.

Pros
  • Passed on to my nephew
Cons
  • Boots can be too cold for very cold winter weather.

Very warm and comfortable!

I ordered these boots for my son as we spend a lot of time outside in winter. This camiki did not disappoint. They kept his feet warm in the cold Maine winter.

Pros
  • Great boot
Cons
  • The laces broke the first time you put them on.

Great winter boots!

These boots are perfect for my 4 year old. His newest boots kept falling off in deep snow, so I wanted one with laces. I like that the liner is not removable. They're still easy to put on (he needs help with the tall boots) and hold up great. Keeps his feet warm and dry in the 3 feet of snow we just got this weekend. I loved the Kamik toddler boots and am equally pleased with these boots for my preschooler. Excellent quality and practicality! I like the colors too

Very durable and stylish but small in size

They look very durable and stylish. The design is nice too - you can pull out the tongue to put the shoes on, then fold them back and fasten the shoes on the highest hook. (Although this can be difficult for a small child - my 4.5 year old son can't do it himself.) I do think the boots run a bit small. My son has been wearing Kamik snowshoes for many years. His last pair (Snowbug 3, size 10 toddler) still fits him, but they are almost the same size for the small size 11, so they fit him snugly.

Quality Kamik (but not easy to put on)

I've been buying Kamik boots for my kids for YEARS and have never been disappointed. It's just a great brand and one of the first things that comes to mind when someone asks for a good shoe recommendation. The only issue I have with these boots are the laces and hooks. Yes they do have slip on boots but the top doesn't open wide enough for my son to easily put them on without undoing the laces from the top hooks. So he has to untie the laces from the top two hooks on either side, put on the…
