Kamik Kids' Charcoal Toddler Boys' Shoes Review

I've been buying my Kamik boots for the last few seasons and they never disappoint. They are light and warm with good traction on the sole. This is the first time I've bought it with lacing. We usually choose slip-ons with velcro at the base. They should be tight and laced up to keep snow out when playing in deep snow. This is easy to do with bungee cord lace but a bit difficult for my 6 year old. However, if you're wearing winter pants with storm cuffs over your boots, that's no problem.

Very happy with these boots. Made in Canada. The soles are flexible, have a good grip and my little one is happy that he can put these boots on relatively easily. The lace is easy to tighten (don't forget to 'tuck' the end under the other lace so it doesn't stick out) and provides good stability up and down the boot. Socks are warm and dry after the snowball game. The fit was pretty much true to the sizing. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it if the kids play a lot outside in the snow.

Great snowshoes for my son. Great for the Canadian winter. Waterproof to a height high enough to walk through puddles or shallow water with ease. What I like most is that the gray stripes on the shoes are reflective, so once the light hits the shoes, those feet are visible. The problem with kamik is usually very solid.

My son loves her. They are easy to put on and take off and keep your feet warm. They are also larger than boots I've seen in stores which is nice.

Trip Hazzard. My son wore them for the first time yesterday. When the laces were attached to the last buckle my son was unable to put the boots on and the laces were long enough to undo the top, still attached. Therefore, to solve this problem, I left the laces attached to the penultimate buckle. But here we face a new problem – the risk of tripping. While running, the laces of one shoe caught the buckle of the second shoe and my son ended up face down with a scratch on his forehead.

My grandson liked these boots and said they are really warm and the nice thing about them is that the lining doesn't come out and the fur is right inside the boot. Ideal for kids who love to play outside or go to school and keep their feet warm and dry.

My 10 year old son is very comfortable and his feet are warm and dry this winter. The only thing I would like to change is that there are no detachable earbuds. If they get wet, they'll take all night to dry.

These boots are durable and well made. I had to go up a size - my daughter is 9 and the size I ordered was a 1. I had to return them to size 2. They're just right - not too high and not low, about mid-calf. We don't get much snow and don't usually get deep snow, and this was just the right amount of snowfall. She says they're comfortable and keep her feet warm, which her old Osh-Kosh boots didn't have - snow kept getting in.

We love everything about these boots. They fit very well, my 4 year old is easy to put on and take off, great support, warm and easy to slip on over or under pants. I bought these to replace another new pair I bought with velcro that barely closed when the pants were tucked in. I will buy them in the future if needed.

I like the look of the boots. I like that they are waterproof. But the lining of the boot still gets wet from the snow and is not removed, making it very difficult to dry the inside of the boot.

We bought a pair and the laces broke on the first tie. Kamik can't fix him, but Revane replaced him very quickly. Then the second pair was a great pair of boots. Keeps you warm and dry and easy to put on.

One year we didn't buy Kamik, we bought a NorthFace and they were warm but leaking. Kamik is consistently excellent year after year.

Went up a size for my son who has clown paws, these boots fit him well and are warm and easy to lace up (if you don't rip them). On our second pair after the dog ate the laces from the first (cannot seem to be replaced).

Easy to put on and keep warm. My son needs some help tying his shoelaces but getting them on is no problem. We love the Kamik brand.

The boots look good, are lined mega, but not waterproof. 2 hours in the snow and your feet are wet. Drying over the heater takes a super long time. I wouldn't buy them again. Very disappointing for a Kamik product.

Easy to put on, warm and dry, my 8 year old son loves them. I ordered them a size up, they are not too big but have room to grow.

I bought these boots for my grandkids for a trip to Green Bay in December. They worked well and kept her warm. They loved to play in the snow and stayed dry and warm.

Very handy for my picky kid and very easy to turn on and off by himself. An absolute winner and I will buy him the same shoe in a larger size if needed.

I love these boots for my son. I bought a second pair when I outgrew the first. Very warm and comfortable. It seems the size is too small. I recommend ordering one size larger than your shoes. Much better than velcro boots.

It appears to be a defective item. The Kamik website says to contact the place I bought it from to have these issues resolved. Unfortunately there is no "Back" button and that seems to be the only way to get in touch. me in a week. We need to fix this ASAP as the snow will return too soon!
