I sometimes carry a small ladder with me so this one is perfect. Doesn't take up space in the car compared to a ladder. I use it to mount kayaks on the roof of my car.

I had to return mine as it can only really be used in smaller vehicles where the door hook is fitted at a height you can actually stand. My SUV has higher latches so I can't use the step.

Very easy to use. Simply attach to the door lock on the frame and you're done. I stepped straight ahead and was able to access the roof easily. This is great if you have a large SUV with a roof rack.

I bought this to use on a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and it works great! Several negative reviews mentioned that it was unstable. I've found that it becomes unstable if I attach/mount it to the doorknob incorrectly (too close to the edge of the knob). But I positioned it closer to the center of the latch and had no problems.
