Never holds up to 35 lbs. The size is more like a newborn. My baby is only 18lbs and I have VERY trouble opening it fully on the ascent. Super loafer because it's so soft and seems to be of good quality. Just too small :(

This is an amazing diaper and yes it holds a lot of urine without leaking BUT the inner fabric does not stay dry so your baby will feel wet when peeing in it! For this reason I would not recommend doing this at night as it is very uncomfortable! At night, I prefer to use a regular rumparooz with bamboo liners (which are incredibly liquid-absorbing and really amazing).

One of my favorites. I plan to buy a few more for our stash. Keeps everything #2 in the diaper thanks to the arrangement inside. It's very absorbent; no leaks. It's not super bulky like most diapers on my baby. It is very gentle on baby's skin. I also like that this diaper is not white on the inside. We had a pair of stained diapers from another brand. Very expensive and bulky for babies. We have used cloth newborn diapers and the newborn size regularly ran out after a month of use and washing. This size is huge for my average 2 month old (we had to switch to this size as newborns were too small at the time).
