The mount is very strong and easy to install apart from the pre-punched wire holes. The holes will not fit a standard size electrical box to install an outlet. I had to modify the bracket by cutting the metal under the socket. I think that's a downside and that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Otherwise it's a very good mount. The turning radius is good and adjustable.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

I'm glad I didn't settle for a cheaper alternative

I found it overpriced but the R500 mount is worth it. It is very well thought out and built. It is firmly attached between two knobs and has an opening at the bottom of the recess to route cables to the display. The instructions were well written and easy to understand. My mount is rated for a 75 inch display that weighs 63 pounds. With this design, the display almost touches the wall. Don't be intimidated by the price tag. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • weak

Works perfectly. But. fits TV mounts, stands and turntables

Fits perfectly on my 72 inch Samsung (2015). My TV weighs 65 pounds and I had to move it 3 inches on the mount to center it on the wall. No issues with TV mount and weight. The only thing (and this has come up in other reviews) is that the TV wants to tilt down no matter how tight you tighten it and no matter where it sits on the mount. It will still tilt down. I was able to find a quick fix and stabilize the TV since I don't have to tilt it. But I can stretch out my arm and move the TV with…

Kanto R500 TV mount is great

I liked everything about this product. I bought a larger mount than I needed for my TV to ensure it would be solid when fully extended. The product works well, it's strong and allows me to 'hide' the mount in the wall cavity when not in use. It looks like my TV is hanging on the wall like a painting. When it's expanded, I can move it 180 degrees for multi-room viewing. When I walk past my wall, I can't see the metal on the bracket, my TV is right up against the wall. This is an elegant solution

  • Always liked
