🍜 Kanwone Ceramic Ramen Bowls: Authentic Japanese Style Review

This is a great ramen kit! The bowls have a great sheen that blends with the texture and gives a great handcrafted ceramic feel that's just the right weight, not too heavy or light. It holds heat well and is the perfect size, even for overflowing ramen or udon. I also like chopsticks and spoons as nice additions if you don't have them. Overall I am very satisfied, from the packaging so that they arrive well, to the quality of the bowls and the low price. Easy to recommend!

Great shells. They're straight forward, big, heat up well in the microwave and don't get very hot when there's hot food inside. The only real kick will be the texture on the inside of the bowl, which can hold small pieces of dried food. or sauce if you're not careful. The texture of the shell reminds me of a texture often used for drywall (lots of small gaps). I have waited to write this review until I have had the opportunity to use these bowls for several weeks. During that time I've used them for anything that required a deep bowl, as well as soup and of course ramen. They are a bit heavy but durable at the same time, I would recommend them mainly for liquid foods as using steel utensils would likely damage them.
