Doesn’t work good for acrylic nails

I ran out of the zebra files I normally get from this brand and they didn’t have them in stock at the time so I settled with these but I immediately didn’t like them. I would rather get the 100/180 zebra files they have!

Pros
  • reasonable price and does what it is intended too
Cons
  • The Karlash Professional Double Sided Emery Board is not suitable for those who have very thin or brittle nails, as it may cause further damage

Not a professional 80 grit

I’ve been using black 80/80 grit files for 27 years and my supply store quit carrying them. I purchased from an online store in bulk last time and they were great but they didn’t have them this time. These arrived quickly but are just not rough like an 80 grit should be. The material doesn’t cut into gel polish to abrade it for an easy soak removal.

Pros
  • Could have a finer side, but will last
Cons
  • These tend to leave black scuff marks on the nails and go dull pretty quick.

Not 80/80! good for me

After some serious frustration filing two nails and taking 5 min per nail I had to bust out some 180/100 that got the job done way better and faster then these. 80/80 is my go too. This is not an 80/80 and now I’m stuck with 150 nonsense files and will still have to buy new ones.

Pros
  • I like the grit on this.
Cons
  • The black sanding paper flakes off onto the nail while filing.
