Peach Katie Marionette Puppet with String Review

Great Doll! We gave it to our 3 and 4 year olds. Yes, they got confused easily, but it was easy to fix. Even after a week with two preschoolers, we just untied the strings to drop the dolls. There is a release tool on the handle which is very helpful.

High quality. The size of the doll is the same as normal dolls, so I was able to buy a princess doll dress that fits her perfectly. For my purposes I replaced the cords with elastics on the head and arms and removed the leg cords. That makes it easier for the kids.

The girls were thrilled until the threads got so tangled. This happened a few hours after receiving the dolls. They couldn't unravel them and I had to try. This is no easy task! Due to the ongoing issue of tangled threads, girls have lost interest in dolls😢. (I have a solution but it requires a trip to the hardware store and a redesign that will have to wait until my next visit to see the granddaughters.) The dolls are a great idea but they were a huge disappointment.

Obviously this doll and other cheap, "similar" dolls are not what you see in the video attached to the product by this fraudulent seller. I knew it was too good for the price and I'm so glad I went with my gut and didn't buy a cheap doll. The one in the picture has threads and a closed mouth. A typical marionette or puppet. However, the ones in the video are more professional puppets, using a small stick to control the hand and an empty space behind it to insert the hand to control the mouth…
