This item is attached to the diesel generator oil pan of my entire house. For two years he has been working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is my second one which I think lasted 5 years before needing replacement. Good value for money.

Installation was so easy I'm glad I bought it. It works great; although the tractor oil pan takes longer to heat up than I expected. It gets hot, but the metal plate under the oil pan is thick and it takes longer for the oil to get hot than I can imagine. The product works as advertised. I just need more patience.

Just no longer works. Wanted to warm my golf cart oil pan during the colder months. It is March 6, 2021 and is no longer running. As you can see it is in pristine condition as it has not been abused and has not been used in extreme environmental conditions. If you are looking for a heater that will last more than 4 months then this heater is NOT for you.

For chicks, attach the magnetic area to the bottom of the metal water tank to keep the water nice and warm. I set the font to two blocks with cobblestones underneath. This way the writing is above the floor so you can attach the heater. If the hens wake up and turn off the heat, it lands on the cobblestones so I don't have to worry about the cedar bedding catching fire. Have been using this style for over 30 years and they last for years.

This is just what my husband needs in the very, very cold weather. At night the temperature approached -40F and his truck was too cold to start. He actually missed a few hours of work because he couldn't start his truck on time, so I bought this. He loaded it onto a truck and set off to do his morning chores on the farm. By the time he finishes feeding the cattle (about 20 minutes), the truck is ready to go. Excellent goods. I hope this stays with us for several years.

I read some of the other reviews and thought "this won't happen to me". Not right! Placed on top of air compressor pump (to keep oil warm in cold weather). Luckily I kept testing it until after 9 days I found that it stopped working and apparently "shorted out" leaving a black burn mark where it was in contact with the pump! Sent it back for a refund, no problem but it should have been closed for me. I've done so well with heating so far. Before you buy, check your fire insurance coverage…

I like it. It seems to work. I use it to keep my Harley's engine, or at least parts of it, warm. Before that I couldn't start the bike in colder temperatures because the oil was like glue. I have a well covered bike but it's outside but it's not a garage and it's very cold outside. The heater is really hot, I'll give it to him. I almost burned myself accidentally touching it the wrong way round. Now I know better. Only 4 stars: If I could change anything about this heater, it would be different

This heater does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is to fasten and heat a steel or iron surface. It is attached with a magnet so it doesn't stick to the aluminum. It also has a thermostat switch inside, which the instructions say should keep it at a consistent temperature of 120-140 degrees Fahrenheit.
