KBS Coatings 70001 White NuMetal Review

Black putty is great for repairing and smoothing metal surfaces. I use black to match the finish I'm working on. Large tubes are easy to use and mix. Hardens well and grinds well.

The NuMetal I received has never been more difficult and I have done what is recommended. . . I kneaded and folded two equal parts in the form of a worm. Repeated several times. Let yourself get in the mood for half a day. Part "B” is powder coated white. I guess it was just really old when it was posted.

I bought this thing to fix the steering wheel on my '66 Cadillac and it worked great. What I didn't expect were the many other uses I could use this material for. Good product! And less money than the Por brand.

This stuff is really good. This gives it enough time to form and then hardens like steel. I used a little to make the mold, then more to cast the replacement part. Part came out as I had hoped. I've also used some to patch holes in the metal, sand and paint now no one will ever know there were holes.

Generally useful to have on hand. It's easy to work with, insanely hard when dry (and therefore a bit brittle). Thick and easy to position without sagging. Slightly sanded. Ideal for filling edges. A PVC hose has been added to our shop vacuum so that bags can be used. Tip: The material is just as wide as a rectangular razor blade. I have individual blades that live with the material and prevent cross contamination.
