Excellent replacement for the original remote control. I got rid of the cable and am doing streaming and HD TV antenna. I had to use my original remote again but the sound didn't work. I would buy this again.

I was delighted to find a remote control for our old Sony Bravia. The good old TV reached for the buttons on the old remote control. After we put the batteries in, the new remote worked as expected. I do not regret the purchase.

The remote works well as expected as a second device. The device looks very similar to the original, not as shiny, seems lighter. The only major difference seems to be cosmetic: this new device has the small bulb exposed, while the original device has the bulb shielded.

The only thing I don't like is the battery cover. The Sony original opens with two stacked batteries. This one only opens for one, so you have to slide the first battery into the closed area and then the second. The photo shows a fully opened battery compartment, so I chose this particular item. The last replacement broke in a hidden battery compartment and became unusable. Otherwise all good and as expected.
